DOUBLE PACK Algarve and Sintra - hit all the highlights!

“Spent a week with the WERIDE guys mountain biking in the Algarve (near Loulé and Monchique) and Sintra. Great team of guides, these guys know the trails and are good teachers. They gave a short overview of the trail before we barrelled down and pointed out the hazards / difficult spots before we were in the thick of it. Algarve was warm, dry trails, great views and fun riding with Luis Pedro, a cool guy! Sintra - if you want rain - go to Sintra in November. The rain added some interesting dimensions to the riding: soft ground, pretty good grip, some skidding sections, some shredding - and the best part - we got WET and DIRTY! Thanks to João Mourão and team for the pleasure. On this trip I personally learned a lot about downhill mountain biking and I credit the WERIDE guys for getting me onto another level. “WE took three different tours and each of them was very special and exciting.
The guides are really lovely peoples, they care a lot about their clients and do everything with passion!
The trails and the group always based on our skill level, that was really important to us. The guides picked us up, they had lunch with us, they took photos and they dropped us back home, full service, super cool!

Most of the trails are very challenging and technical but in the end WE improved a lot and enjoyed every ride. And besides WE had a lot of fun as well!
The nature is stunning, WE saw so many beautiful places, especially in Sintra, this was our favorite tour. 

It was perfect, WE would love to come back next year!”

Algarve MTB holiday - Local Pack - "The perfect start to the enduro season 2018!"

"The perfect start to the enduro season 2018!
We booked 5 days of riding in advance, around Algarve. Our accommodation (Hotel Faro) in the center of Faro was great (countless bars and restaurants within walking distance).
But above all the riding was superb. Our guide LP showed us not only the most beautiful trails around Algarve, but also gave us an insight into the life and culture of Portugal. "Never skip a dessert for lunch and dinner" (chocolate muse and almond fig cake are highly recommended). It was a joy to try all the specialties of Portuguese cuisine.
I had decided to use my cotic bfe hardtail as the weapon of action. After five days of riding, I can record that everything is possible on this trails. The bike was very playful and super fast while accelerating out of the curves. But for the rough stuff (and there's quite a few) my hands and butt would have been very grateful for a rear suspension.

I had an amazing time in Algarve and there will be a second time for sure. Thanks to the team of WERIDE especially to LP!"

"WE booked a holiday pack (LOCAL PACK) with 5 days of riding in advance. All in all WE stayed 7 nights in a great hotel (Hotel Faro, 4 stars) with a rooftop pool in Algarve. Unfortunately the temperatures were still too cold to jump into the pool. WE had temperatures reaching from 5°C to 14°C. Our guide told us, it was one of the coldest winters here he´d ever experienced. 
It was great to have a guide with us who knew the area, so WE didn´t have to look up the routs ourselfs. It was less stressful that way. In addition to that, he recommended good places to eat and had a lot of great information about the people, culture and area of Algarve to share.
WE had an amazing time in Algarve and it is worth a visit.

Daytour - Coastline Ride in Carvoeiro

"Even if it was completely offseason tourism (January) everything worked quite perfect. WE had an awesome ride with perfectly working enduro bikes and a great guide (thx Luis Pedro ;P)!! He showed us some of the best trails along the coastline near Carvoeiro... Besides the great ride, WE talked a lot about bikes, surfing and technical stuff! LP also connected us to a nice surf station in Faro for catching some waves. WE will visit Portugal again for sure! On this occasion WE will explore the other Bike Spots with WERIDE and spend some more time on these perfect trails!"

"WE had the pleasure of riding with Pedro in Sintra and Luis in Algarve and both experiences made our trip! The guides were able to modify the routes based on our individual abilities (my boyfriend is a stronger rider) and customize the routes so WE both were challenged but safe. 

Pedro did a great job of prefacing the trail ahead and calling out specifics before WE rode them. Luis was great in supporting and detailing the route - coast along the way which made the day so much fun! WE got to see the coast while capturing our trip with photos along the way.
